“But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.”

💭 Reflection

Meetings are one of the places patience gets tested fastest, slow decisions, repeated explanations, people who process out loud. James frames patience not as passive waiting but as something with real work to do in us, finishing something that makes us more complete, not less productive. The frustration you feel in a long discussion might be exactly where growth is happening. It's worth asking what patience is actually training in you today, because the thing that irritates you in a meeting is often the exact thing God is using to shape how you handle frustration everywhere else.

When today's discussion starts to drag, resist the urge to cut it short just to move faster. Ask one more clarifying question before deciding the group has actually said enough, and notice your own internal impatience as information rather than acting on it immediately.
