The update follows an April report from the Task Force to Eradicate Anti-Christian Bias, created under a presidential executive order, which detailed findings from seventeen federal agencies on religious discrimination.
Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche said religious liberty "is one of our Nation's founding principles and a fundamental right guaranteed by the Constitution," and that federal agencies must fully respect and protect Americans' ability to live out their faith. The guidance was published jointly across multiple federal agencies, including the Departments of Education and Health and Human Services.
